The Stone Devil (Canadian bookbanning history)

I'm kind of moved to see that the book banning crews obsessively thinning out the school libraries of Alberta are still including Margaret Laurence on their list.  

I mean, she has been dead almost forty years and after trying to break her heart for half her life, they continue obsessively. Can't eradicate that filthy stuff without burning Margaret Laurence again!  

What is it about her literary soul that compellthem to bully her still?  Read something by Margaret Laurence, kids.  It's an easy way to stick it to them.  A jest of God, almost.
