History of Canadian cultural politics
Posted by

I've recently been involved in a small oral history project, documenting the cultural history moment that shaped the foundation of the Writers' Union of Canada forty years ago. Recordings and transcripts will eventually be archived and available, but for the moment the Union is presenting brief selections from the conversations as podcasts.
A little of the conversation I recorded with broadcaster and novelist Howard Engel can be heard on the Union website. More to come.
The website also has a brief history of the Writers' Union.
