Photographer and history student Amanda Laplace, descendant of a World War II era Jewish refugee, has begun a photo essay on the internment camps in southern Quebec, which include, to my surprise, Fort Lennox on l"Ile aux Noix -- mostly known as a Parks Canada site focussed on the 18th century Richelieu Valley military campaigns. She writes:
I haven't had much luck in getting the project out there as of yet, but I thought maybe you would be interested in seeing it.
