From Montreal, the Cundill Prize in History today announced that the American historian Camilla Townsend has won the 2020 Cundill Prize for Fifth Sun: A New History of the Aztecs.
I'm reviewing the Cundill finalists for a forthcoming issue of the Literary Review of Canada, so I think I'll save my thoughts. But you could do worse than ask for the shortlist books for Christmas.
