Here's one to warm the heart of any true historian of a certain vintage: a history of microfilm -- and with no respect for all your transient digital toys.

Capsule description of my apprenticeship as an HR (public service job classification: historical research) with Parks Canada a long time ago. Hand-cranked readers too: I've always been ambivalent about the motor-driven ones.
