History/Policy/Britain/Europe

History and Policy, a blog about British public policy issues run by a collection of British historians (and something of an inspiration for Canada's Active History) has launched a sub-section dealing with European issues, in time for Britain's foolish referendum on staying in or leaving the European Union.

Meanwhile, another group of Brit historians is weighing in, under the name Historians for Britain (what they are against, you can guess).  Ideological leanings?  Well, they use an image of Henry VIII in their logo.

Speaking of referendums, New Zealand just voted to keep the Union Jack flag.  That's gotta be embarrassing.
