This year the University of Toronto History Department's Creighton Lecture will be held not only in memory of Donald Creighton but about Donald Creighton. The Creighton lecturer on April 9 will be Donald Wright, discussing Creighton and his biography, Donald Creighton: A Life in History.The Creighton will this year be part of a daylong seminar, in association with the Dictionary of Canadian Biography, on biography and on what the organizers describe as History that Actually Gets Read. Speakers will include Christopher Dummitt, Stevie Cameron, and Ross King.
