Constitutional history nerds: McGill-Queen's Press promises The Constitutions that Shaped Us, a historical anthology of pre-1867 constitutions from the Royal Proclamation of 1763 to the Act of Union of 1840, edited by Guy LaForest, Eugenie Brouillet, Alain Gagnon and Yves Tremblay, and reprinting classic interpretative essays by earlier constitutional historians.
Nice cover of the Canadian delegates arriving at Charlottetown in 1864. But the 1867 constitution is not included here.
Beyond that, a relatively thin list of CanHist from MQUP this fall. See the catalogue for the complete list, including D.J. Hall, From Treaties to Reserves on that process in Alberta, and Pence and Aldridge, Keeping Promises, on the Royal Proclamation of 1763, plus some other works
