In the new year.../Party like it's 199 [updated]

.... blogging may be light for a while.  They say historians make history, other people just live, and right now there is a lot of history to be made.

But I do note that someone is turning 199 in a couple of days and there are going to be par-tahs.  The John A. Macdonald Bicentennial Commission is keeping track.
