Creighton is back

We were noting the lively posthumous publishing activity of Hugh Trevor-Roper recently. Turns out Donald Creighton is doing pretty well too Oxford University Press has recently republished a handsome new edition of his 1964 book The Road to Confederation, with a new introduction by Creighton scholar Donald Wright and a Homer Watson cover.
And Creighton's 1970 lament-for-a-nation Canada's First Century is also reprinted. Both books are part of a OUP Canada initiative called the Wynford Project -- reprints of "significant milestones in Canadian literature, thought, and scholarship."
