Flip Your Lids: Archival photo essay from Carleton U

To my delight, while flipping through the latest issue of the Carleton University Magazine, I came across a photo essay on some of the archival materials held at the Archives and Research Collections within Carleton Library. Among other materials, it highlights a jewell of the archive - a donation from the estate of Jacob Siskind, a well known mid-20th century Canadian music critic for both the Ottawa Citizen and Montreal Gazette. Here's a link the article and a video/article (the video attached here) discussing the collection and the place of Jacob Siskind in Canadian music history. I owe a debt of thanks to the folks at the Carleton Archives - quite pivotal in sending me down the archives path as a future career.

Cheers!
