The Canadian Encyclopedia's Feature Article online for today notes the Charlottetown Conference, just about to start 144 years ago this week.
It's a nicely-turned piece by the encyclopedia's Editor-in-Chief James March. It's his piece, but I was chuffed to see the influence of my 1867: How the Fathers Made a Deal on it, particularly in Marsh's last paragraph.
