Crumbling Heritage

Also in the Globe & Mail (see below): sad story about the crumbling state of the Brock Monument at Queenston Heights, and about the inability of Parks Canada (of the whole museum community in Canada really) to pay for the upkeep on the built heritage it holds in trust. The government makes patriotic noises, but it cut the conservation budget of Parks Canada last year.
