Death of the Historiador of Havana 1942-2020 RIP

In Old Havana, the city historian's office does everything.

The Guardian reports the death of Eusebio Leal Spengler, the city historian of Havana since 1967, who was given near complete authority over the old Havana district and gradually transformed it into the model of preservation and commerce that has charmed so many tourists.
