Thanks to Dave LeBlanc, the weekly "Architourist" in the
Globe and Mail's real estate section, I've been browsing a little in the online
Biographical Dictionary of Canadian Architects. It announces itself as an "authoritative work" that "lists every Canadian building of importance between 1800 and 1950 whose architect can be identified, together with essential information on the date of design, construction, alteration or demolition of the work." And it backs up the claim, with a mass of information that is searchable almost anyway you want.
