Prize watch: Wilson History Publishing Prize to McGill-Queen's

Publishers get prizes too, once in a while.
Each year the L.R. Wilson Institute for Canadian History at McMaster University awards a $10,000 prize to a publisher it deems to have excelled at publishing and promoting innovative writing in Canadian History. The Wilson Institute has chosen McGill-Queen’s University Press as the recipient of the Wilson Prize for Publishing Canadian History for 2013.
The Prize will be presented to MQUP by Dr. H.V. Nelles at McGill University Faculty Club on 21 January 2014.
MGQ says it will apply the award to the publication costs of Life and Law at Red River, a forthcoming legal history by Dale Gibson.
