Archives Summit

The Association of Canadian Archivists has the 411 on the Archives Summit on Friday. There are background briefings and instructions on how to participate by livestream. Main meeting is in Toronto plus local meetings all over Canada.

The announcement is full of "envisioning... the knowledge infrastructure" and "the beginning of a strategic re-envisioning process for the Canadian archives community."  I guess they can't actually come out and say "Can anything save Library and Archives Canada from the trainwreck?" And they do promise agents provocateurs.
