More prime ministerial face-offs

The December 3 print issue of Macleans'  has a lengthy discussion between Richard Gwyn, biographer of John A. Macdonald, and Allan Levine, biographer of William Lyon Mackenzie King, as to which was the greater prime minister.

It's not yet on the website. The website does, however, include Macleans' Parliamentary awards and its choice for Parliamentarian of the Year.  Reading it, I couldn't help thinking that choosing no winners this year -- every year? -- might have been the better choice.

Meanwhile, Active History is still drafting its fantasy PMs league.
