Join the (British) army and see the world

British historian Stuart Laycock reports that there are 22 countries in the whole world that British forces have never invaded or occupied. They never got to Mongolia, the Marshall Islands, or Luxembourg, he says, but just about everywhere else.

The data are in his book, All the Countries We've Ever Invaded: And the Few We Never Got Round To.

Somewhere, someone must already be working on the American edition of this book.
