History of Leadership

Paul Wells suggests that Stephen Harper will use Louis St-Laurent as his campaigning model, while emulating Mackenzie King in the strategic goals he is pursuing.

I have to consider whether I believe either impersonation is likely to be brought off successfully. But I get a nice warm feeling to know there is a journalist who knows enough of St-Laurent and Mackenzie King to venture the comparison and back it up.

Now Roy McGregor's Stephane Dion=Joe Clark comparison in the Globe(it's praise, evidently), that one seems a little thinner.
