Blogging D-Day+70

“At the end of the day, its forward elements stood deeper into France than those of any other division. The opposition the Canadians faced was stronger than that of any other beach save Omaha." -- John Keegan
D-Day, the good victory in the good war, seems to get bigger every year.  Here are a few websites taking note of the Canadian participation there -- 'cause American bloggers like this one on History News Network, will take for granted it was all Americans all the way:

Canada's History had an extensive D-Day under "Online Extension" at its website.

Wartime Wednesdays has been all over the subject the last couple of weeks

CBC News online is blogging D-Day "in real time."

The War Museum is on the job bigtime.

And no doubt the Juno Beach Centre kids will be working overtime.
