History from above? not in Kitchener

The city of Kitchener has nixed a plan to erect statues of all 22 Canadian prime ministers in a local park, after a survey found 8 out of 10 people hated the idea, with typical respondents calling it a tacky tribute to rich white lawyers.  Rod Benns defends the project here.
