Coyne on leadership

The question for our politics is how to make the reality closer to the theory: to give Parliament generally, and Members of Parliament individually, greater powers to check the executive.
Andrew Coyne offers some sense on the Liberal Party's really nutsy plans for future 
leadership selection contests.


Update: January 6:  Gordon Gibson weighs in, also noting the effect of the Liberal plan would be to further separate the party leader from accountability to caucus.
