Spare a thought for museum workers

Staff at the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa-Hull, on strike since September 21, are calling for arbitration in their dispute with the museum. A key demand is secure employment; the union reports some of its members have been contract employees at the museum, without benefits or security of tenure, for twenty years.
