Not just elections, 250 years of elections

Okay, we are not covering or commenting on the federal election on this blog. Promise!

But we might note that Nova Scotia is commemorating the 250th anniversary of elective institutions in Canada 1758-2008. It began with the legislative assembly of Nova Scotia, first called in 1758, and Nova Scotia is marking the anniversary with "Democracy250" at this website , an initiative of the government and legislature of Nova Scotia.
